Live music - Farther Shore (Aod Belloc’h)
New this year: we’re thrilled to welcome Farther Shore (Aod Belloc’h) all the way from California! For years, they’ve kept a vibrant fest-noz scene alive on the West Coast, sharing Breton music and dance far beyond its roots. The group brings together Shira Kammen (multi-instrumentalist), Jim Oakden (accordion, guitar, winds), Ronan Keryell (bombarde and Breton dance leader), and Adrienne Simpson (dancer and teacher), each with deep experience in traditional music and dance. Their name, “Aod Belloc’h” (“farther shore”), reflects the deep connection between Brittany and communities across the ocean. Blending skilled musicians and dancers, they bring energy, tradition, and passion to the dance floor.
Get ready… they’re set to light up Breizh Fest!

Live music - Bagad New York
Bagad New York is back!
Fourth appearance, same energy! Get ready for powerful music and dynamic dance. Rooted in the Breton tradition of bagadoù - ensembles of bagpipes, bombardes, and drums - Bagad New York brings the spirit of this unique musical form across the Atlantic. Even in a reduced format, the group carries the intensity, precision, and collective energy that define a full bagad.
Blending tradition and passion, Bagad New York delivers a vibrant celebration of Breton culture through driving rhythms, stirring melodies, and dynamic choreography. As one of the only bagads championing Breton music in the United States, they play a unique role in keeping this rich cultural heritage alive and sharing it with audiences far from Brittany - a high-energy performance not to be missed!
