Live music - Sea shanties
Sea shanties are traditional folk songs born on the decks of sailing ships, sung to the rhythm of the sea and the hard work of sailors. In Brittany, a true maritime land shaped by the ocean, these songs are much more than melodies, they are a living part of Breton heritage. Passed down through generations, sea shanties tell stories of voyages, storms, friendship, and life at sea, carrying the soul of Brittany’s maritime culture. Powerful, moving, and full of character, they continue to echo the deep bond between the Bretons and the ocean.
